Description for Woodland Escape
You’ll never be bored during your stay at Woodland Escape. Not only is the three-bedroom log home just a few minutes from the numerous attractions of the Pigeon Forge Parkway, but it also offers plenty of entertainment options of its own, including a pool table, an arcade table, free WiFi, and cable TV. What’s more, in summer you can swim for free in the community’s pool.

At the same time, Woodland Escape is perfectly suited for simply kicking back and relaxing. You can do plenty of that on its huge wrap around deck. Begin your day sipping coffee on one of the Adirondack chairs as warblers and wrens celebrate the sunrise; end your evening gazing up at the constellations as owls hoot in the surrounding woods. The deck is delightfully shady in summer, while its fireplace will keep you toasty while you admire the kaleidoscopic foliage on brisk autumn afternoons.

The cabin’s great room is just as serene. Large windows let in plenty of sunshine, adding to the luster of the wood-planked walls, floors, and beamed ceiling. There’s a fireplace in here as well, well situated between the living and dining areas. Whether you’re stretched on a sofa watching TV or playing cards at the dining table, you’ll feel wonderfully at home.

The dining table seats six. Though Woodland Escape is close to scores of restaurants serving everything from sushi to steak to Southern specialties, sometimes it’s more relaxing (and more budget-friendly) to eat in. On those occasions, you’ll really appreciate the well-equipped kitchen. With its stainless-steel appliances, ample cookware and tableware, and generous elbow room, the kitchen makes cooking a pleasure, not a chore. And it’s so convenient to have a refrigerator to keep wine cold, a coffee maker for brewing a cup any time you like, and a blender for mixing either milkshakes or margaritas. What’s more, the park-style charcoal grill outside will help you satisfy any cravings you might have for barbecue.

Upstairs is where you’ll find the game room. Challenge the others to a game of pool at the full-size table, or sit down at the arcade table for two for some classic gaming. The game room doubles as a bedroom. With full-size bunk beds, it can sleep up to four people. The kids will love making this their sleeping quarters: Having an arcade table in their bedroom just might be a highlight of their vacation!

Each of Woodland Escape’s two other bedrooms qualifies as a master, with a king-size bed and a TV. In addition, one of the great room couches opens into a bed for two, enabling the cabin to sleep as many as nine people in all.

Along with three bedrooms, Woodland Escape has three bathrooms. What a relief not to wait on line for your turn to take a shower! When you arrive, you’ll find plenty of clean towels for the bathrooms, the beds already made up, and extra linens ready and waiting. Other conveniences include a private washer and dryer and a paved multivehicle driveway.

And while we’re on the subject of convenience, there’s Woodland Escape’s marvelous location. As you sit on the deck savoring the silence and the crisp mountain breeze, you might easily forget that the cabin is mere minutes from amusement parks, dinner theaters, and other attractions. Outdoor Gravity Park, where you can go zorbing year-round, is within walking distance; you can drive to the Titanic Museum, the Blake Jones Racing Center, WonderWorks, and the Island entertainment complex in less than ten minutes. Only slightly farther are Dollywood, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community, among many, many other attractions.

We weren’t kidding when we said you’ll never be bored! Don’t miss out: Book your stay at Woodland Escape today, and get ready to make memories that will last a lifetime.

Reviews for Woodland Escape
This cabin is close to everything but still has the quietness of being out of town.

We loved that we felt removed from all the busyness, but yet we were still very close to everything our kids wanted to do. The cabin was very clean and excellently maintained. Our kids loved the bunk bed room with the arcade games. We will definitely be back!

We loved the cabin
Loved that it was New and odorless. Very clean. Beautiful cabin. Everything you need to cook is there. The only thing I would add is a Map of the alpine village. To better choose the cabin according to location. But none the less a very Beautiful experience.

Nice new and clean cabin
We stayed 6 nights and were part of a large group that all rented in the Alpine Village. We used this place more as a landing place while kids were playing at the Cal Ripken Experience. I would definitely rent again from the rental company and if the construction doesn't bother you, you will enjoy this nice new cabin. Pros: Nice new cabin that is fresh and clean. Never used the hot tub but looked new. Nice porch with fireplace and chairs. Bedrooms are a nice size. Kids loved the pool table. Well stocked kitchen. The rental company is responsive and easy to work with and also called to check in on things. Great location for Cal Ripken Experience and also great if whole team all books in Alpine Village (pools and pavilion wonderful to use for group gatherings). Cons: Construction is the big deal. It's not so loud but the trucks using our parking, the workers use the road as a work area, lots of nails on the road ( I picked a bunch up hoping not to get a flat tire) are the big issues. If you are looking for seclusion this isn't it. The good thing it won't last forever and it's beyond the rental companies control.  Limited views, you are tucked down on the lower road. So while you have a great porch with really nice chairs you won't have a great mountain or treetop views.  The other issue is weak wifi. The wifi works but needs to be moved to a different location in the home to maximize its coverage. For someone that was working, it was painful internet access. I get it that we are in a somewhat secluded area, but others in our group didn't have the same issue. Small easy fix. The only other minor suggestion is to add a luggage rack or a chair in the bedrooms. The chest of drawers are lovely, but we didn't use them. Again, this was more of landing place at night and in between games. We were not really hanging out here.
