Description for Sherwood Splash Lodge
Only recently opened, Sherwood Splash Lodge can sleep up to fifty-two people in its eleven bedrooms. Just as important, its huge dining area can seat the whole crowd at one time, its impressively equipped kitchen can accommodate multiple chefs to cook for the entire gang, and the lodge offers luxuries including an indoor pool, two hot tubs, and a home theater that seats thirty-three people.

Located within the gated Sherwood Forest Resort, the three-story lodge is less than two miles from the Pigeon Forge Parkway. That means you can easily and quickly drive to all the local must-see attractions, from Dollywood to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. There’s plenty of parking too: room for ten vehicles right on the property and an adjacent lot that can accommodate additional cars and even buses.

Spread out among the lodge’s more than 8,500 square feet, the eleven bedrooms (each of which has a TV) allow for flexible sleeping arrangements. The top floor includes four bedrooms, one bedroom with a king-size bed, another bedroom includes a queen-size bed, and the remaining two bedrooms supplies a pair of king-size beds. The main level provides four bedrooms as well. Two of the main level bedrooms offer king-size beds and the other two bedrooms offer a pair of king-size beds. The lower level at Sherwood Splash offers three bedrooms. Two bedrooms supply two sets of queen bunks for each bedroom. The third bedroom furnishes one full-sized bunk bed and one twin-sized bunk bed. In case that’s not enough, two sofas in the great room and two in the upstairs sitting room open into queen-sized sleepers.

Many lodges that can sleep dozens of guests don’t have a dining room large enough to seat them all for a meal. Sherwood Splash Lodge does. You don’t have to eat in shifts when you stay here: The dining room is massive, with enough table and chairs for everyone. Likewise, the kitchen is equipped to cook for and serve a crowd. Along with an oversized fridge/freezer, it includes two oven/stoves, two microwaves, two sinks, two dishwashers, and lots of gadgets, cookware, and tableware—plus more than enough counter space and elbow room to accommodate multiple cooks.

The dining area shares a double-sided fireplace with the great room. This bright and open space boasts a double-height ceiling, a flat-panel TV, and what might be some of the most comfortable seating you’ve ever kicked back on—rivaled only by the coaches in the upstairs sitting room. Then again, the thirty-three cinema-style seats in the downstairs home theater are plenty comfortable too!

When you’re not watching a movie on the home theater’s large projection screen, you can shoot some pool or play one the sixty arcade games in the game room next door. Maybe post vacation pictures on your Instagram and Facebook using our free WiFi- your friends will be so jealous! You can also head down the hall to the lodge’s private, indoor in-ground pool. While the resort has its own pool that you can use, it’s open only in the summer. Here you can splash about year-round!

You could easily while away most of your stay on Sherwood Splash Lodge’s two covered decks, which encompass nearly 3,000 square feet. Multiple picnic tables let you dine alfresco, and there are numerous porch rockers for kicking back to listen to the songbirds in the morning or to gaze up at the stars at night. And especially after a day of hiking, rafting, golfing, or skiing, you’ll love luxuriating in one of the two hot tubs on the lower deck.

Whether you’re here for a family or class reunion, a church or youth group outing, a corporate off-site meeting, or a vacation with several other families, you’re sure to have a blissfully memorable time when you stay at Sherwood Splash Lodge. Book your stay today, and you’ll be the hero of your entire group!

Reviews for Sherwood Splash Lodge
Wonderful place. Lots of space for our entire group. All of us had a great time and were super satisfied with the location.

Great!
his rental was large and perfect for our large family gathering. We loved the large kitchen and dining area—it was comfortable for all of us to eat/play games together. It also worked well for us to have several different gathering areas on the various levels for when we wanted a little space for difference activities. The lodge is close enough to Pigeon Forge to easily head to town for groceries or other entertainment. While our group made frequent use of the 2 hot tubs, we were disappointed that the indoor swimming pool was surprisingly cold.  Due to this, we didn’t use it. Overall, it was a great week

Perfect for Family Reunion
Very large and spacious...only downside was being able to hear the little ones running around while you are trying to sleep.

Lots of room, lots of fun.
We had plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy ourselves. Although the purpose of the trip was a bonding experience for our company and their families, we did not want to feel like we were crowded. With enough rooms and bathrooms to accommodate all the guys, their wives and kids, we were able to have great bonding time without compromising our personal space.  The only thing we didn't like is that the cabin was a little closer to the bottom of the mountain and the view wasn't the best. The convenience to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg more than made up for it, though. We were everywhere we wanted to be in less than 15 minutes. Would recommend this to anyone doing a company retreat or large family gathering.

Plenty of room for our large group to enjoy different activities
The lodge was clean and well stocked. All of the features were as described. We enjoyed our long weekend.
